november 30th, 2001 (gambling is evil)

2:04 am — i’m writing about last night. i went with andrew, hyun, tk, susan, josh, and tina [chow] to kenmore, which was a bowling alley, casino, and arcade all in one. it was kinda boring. it wasn’t that bad though because i’m actually semi-amused by watching other people play cards and bowl O.o; i couldn’t do either because i had no cash for bowling, and no gambling because GAMBLING IS EVIL. forrealz!!! this one guy put down like $500 like it was nothing and that retard lost it all. fuk that shit… it’s not worth the risk. it’s times like those when i am glad i am a cheapo because i would never put up that kinda risk for that shit. fuck that!!! i keep money for me, biotch! no stocks for me either because i have bad karma and bad luck and shit so i’d probably go bankrupt. lalala… afterwards me, andrew, hyun, and tk went to hyun / john [chae] / dan [kim]’s apartment and just sat around for a while… we ate ramyun and watched the movie “juice”. fuck, that movie pissed me off! tupac was such an ass in it! and the ending had no closure… BUT… omar epps is hot… whee! anyway laygoland rave tomorrow (technically tonight) is going to be fucking tyte… there’s free arcade games and lifesize legos and lego men… hahahaha… i LOVE legos man! but yeah… it’s gonna be hella crappy too because there’s going to be SO many people there and NAF is hella small… AND it’s raining so it’s not like people will want to kick it outside… AND the floor is going to be all nasty from the rain… fuck! it’s going to be crappy too! no room to dance and stuff. >_< and then i think that i won’t be able to buy a snowboard this year because i don’t have the cash to do it… but then it’s such a waste if i go snowboarding and have to pay every tym! grrr! maybe i will buy it slowly and next year i’ll have enough cash to buy everything… i hope. right now i only got a jacket. need snowboarding pants, boots, bindings, snowboard… fuck! so much cash. *sigh. remind me to buy it in the summer, dammit.

november 27th to 30th, 2001 (so diligent art i)

i’ve been lazy updating as of late… if yoo can’t tell. no motivation to do shet.
november 27th — don’t remember much except that me, eva, jun, and chol ordered two large pizzas and we finished it… =X piggish. and we watched tv and played a little bit of puzzlefighter. i brought puzzlefighter and gem fighter from home so that we could play it on chol’s playstation, since he brought a tv now too. nice.
november 28th — i went to all my classes! every single one. it’s painful! and then i went to work. boring. after that me and sora walked to odegaard library and met the rest of the lambda lil sis and the lambda pledges and we went on a scavenger hunt together. in the beginning, i was in the car with alex, peter, shara, nicki, liz, and eddie… me and eddie had to cram in the front seat because there were too many people… and then we had to take a picture by this pig statue with the whole group, so we met up with the other car… and i switched cars after the picture because there car had a little more room… so now it was me, gina, susan, sora, chun, and jimmy… hahaha sora and susan and one other person (i’m assuming gina) went into the car of the opposite team in the beginning… HAHAHAHA. hella funny. yeah… stuff we had to get was like, a bib from a restaurant, condoms, rave fliers, asian barbie doll (we couldn’t find one, so we got a postcard with one), bottle of sriracha sauce, orange traffic cone, ketchup packets from six different restaurants, schedule of the supersonics, and a job application from victoria’s secret. hahaha we went in and the girl was so happy because they were hecka short of workers… too bad we weren’t actually interested, eh? hehe. that was fun though… except the second half of the group i went with was soooo slow… the first group was faster… so they were done and shara called chun and was bitching saying, “hurry the fuck up!” and people were peevy. ^^* so yeah we lost because the second half of the group took so long… since we couldn’t find the laygoland rave fliers and the supersonics schedule, we printed them out from online, and gina’s printer / computer / internet were soooooo friggin slow. oh well. when i came back i was hungry because i missed eating dinner so i went over to richard [lee… not the mv one, obviously]’s dorm and he fed me tuna subway sandwich and microwaveable rice (haha… well it’s not bad) with keem… long time no eat keem!
november 29th — after classes i went to this uw apparel store and bought a paddle because we have to make one for our lambda big bros… mine is going to kick ass. i’ll put a pic up when i can get one. =P it’s going to kick ass, i tell you! *i’m hoping. i’m actually going to go work on that soon. anyways, after that i went to the university bookstore to buy some supplies to decorate it… and then i came back and started on it… and then me and richard went to study… actually got a little work done so it was kool… then i came back and played scrabble with andrew and hyun… haha. we play scrabble too much! ^^*
november 30th — slept in and didn’t go to linguistics or chinese class. my chinese teacher got pissed. oops. then i went to asian-american studies and sat around… got my midterm back. i got a 67.8%… eh, well compared to my 30% from my dinosaurs midterm that is fucking good. haha. so i’m not complaining. after that i went to the library to study for an hour and then went to meet up with daniel, brian, caitlin, and sebastian to work on our extremely random star wars-based chinese skit. blah. i am queen amidala O.o; we’ll see how that goes on monday. we barely practiced, after all. and now i’m sitting around trying to figure out what i am going to do tonight… andrew wanted me to go gambling with them but that’s only if they can find me an id… since i’m a youngin… O.o; we’ll see… this sucks! well… later!

november 23rd to 27th, 2001 (over break)

soooo… i’m too lazy to write about mai weekend so i am just going to take other people’s journal entries… wahaha. with an exception of the 23rd… half of it anyway.
november 23rd — in the morning i got up hella early and went to stoneridge mall with sherry and jeanette to go post-thanksgiving shopping… just bought a pair of jeans (that i want to return now because they’re not flared enough for mai tastes) and a tank top shirt. wahOo… later: “then sher and i went to get mcdonalds! omg! haven’t had that for soooo long..and viv went to the bank and we met her at in and out since she craved that..so we just ate in the parking lot..but viv lagged so by the time she joined us in sher’s car..we were already done eating hehe.” ~ (jeanette); “then vivian called and wanted my hot topic 15% off thingy so she came over and got it, and then went shopping with claire and people” ~ xinlei; then i went out to dinner with phil wu and family in san mateo. it was alright, i guess. i still like home-cooked food better than restaurant food. i need to learn how to cook eventually or my husbang is going to be very dao-mei… hahaha. “i went to dahye’s @ like 9:30… then vivian showed up, then phil and his cousins jessica & ning showed up. we spent a long ass time waiting for claire and shibata and richard to come, so we watched star wars in the meantime. finally they showed up. so then we left for santa clara to go karaoking. claire drove me, richard and shibata. phil drove his cousins, and jason drove vivian and dahye. so yea i fell asleep in the car because i am sleep deprived. and we got there, there was a mix up, we went to the wrong place and we lost phil, and we then drove to another place really close by, but then we ended up walking back to the old place because of some…stuffs. then dave lee and phil nho showed up. yea……..and yea. afterwards i went to denny’s, after trying to go to ihop, but finding that it was closed… got back around 2:40 or something.” ~ (xinlei)… not that she even makes sense. hahaha.
november 24th — claire and shibata were at milpitas golfland and i wanted to go so me and richard went to golfland… played arcade. YAY. better than stupid washington’s gameworks… blech. and then we went to eat soondubu (tofu house). i was one happy kid. i love soondubu. mMmMmMm. finally we went back to the boring tri-valley area… “we went to room with a cue as usual =P hehe…where we waited for a table and for everyone…man i think we had the biggest asian group that place had ever seen =P wahahha…we ended up taking 3 tables…hehe wowzers…” ~ (fontaine); “dahye, vivian, dahye, phil hsieh & phil nho played. fontaine and richard played. me, kristin, hoshi and diana played. and phil wu was @ jason’s table i guessems. man, our table…fontaine and richard played like four games, and we were STILL on our first game. bleh! 
we went to kristin’s house afterwards and sat around and half watched this odd snowboarding video of diana’s. and some people were playing truth or dare poker, which was strange, while people were taking turns going on aim. left around 11:40 or so. and thus concludes the thanksgiving break.” ~ (xinlei)
november 25th — slept in past church (accidentally, but i don’t mind) and then me, mai bro, gloria, tin-win, karen, jeanette, and sherry went to eat at red robin’s… aish… fattening fOods. but there were banana milkshakes so issall good. everyone at our table got clamstrips other than karen, who just got a soup. hahaha. didn’t do much the rest of the day, just sort of vegged around at home. oh wait! i got a haircut. like three inches… but i don’t like it… too straight. blech.
november 26th — got up at 5 am and went online briefly and saw that everyone and their moms was online hahaha. eva, hyun, and andrew had been playing online games all night and other people were up to register for classes at 6 am. strange children. spent a day in the airport, basically. waited in line for check-in, waited in line for security check, waited in line to get on the plane. damn the airport. >_< but i can’t imagine not flying ever because then you’d be stranded in the americas! and canada. nah i’ll pass on that. planes are good. yeah my plane went from san jose, bay area, to san diego, to seattle. bOo. doesn’t make any sense. and on the way from san diego to seattle, i had these scissors in my carry-on bag that are like craft scissors… that cut patterns and stuff… and they took them! they told me to ask if i could take them on the plane but i ALMOST missed my flight so i just gave it to them. damn those bastards. i came back and hyun and andrew picked me up… they were waiting for hella long because my plane was delayed and stuff. then we went to eat chinese food and i was flippin for the rest of the day because i left my cell phone in hyun’s car and he was nowhere to be found. blahblah. nothing else interesting. later!!!

i finally got your letter. thanks again for the pages… and the INCREDIBLY hard to read little note!! geeeeez~ as if my eyes weren’t strained enough!! XP i had to hold it up really close to the light to be able to see the ink. at first, i thought it was blank. o.O;
so i have to get started on your rhyming letter. they take me like 3 days cuz i keep quitting after a paragraph or so. -_- *sigh* and they’re lame & crappy.
even though their new album sucks, i want to marry shirley manson. except… she’s already married. dammit. dammittttttttt. >=(
