modern art = bs as well.

The story of the evolution of art.

Back in the daze people who count paint ‘well’ got famous. Da Vinci, Michaelangelo (sp?), etc.

Then it was the psycho people. Van Gogh, Picasso (oh c’mon yoo tell mee he’s not pscyho… look @ the Guernica!)

Then came the no talent people… thas right… modern art. Sherry recently went a museum in New York, and she came across a painting that was called “Blue”. It was simply a painting that had dark blue on the outside, and the blue slowly faded as it approached the center, leaving a small portion of white in the very middle. While this could have been done in two seconds bai anyone who knew how to shade, it was considered a masterpiece.

And if yoo think that is bad… what about splashing toilets with paint? That’s supposed to be art too?

And even worse… in a museum in England (this was VERY recent news… happened about January or February 2000) had displays of goldfish in blenders. To make the experience seem “more realistic”, the blenders worked, and they were plugged in and everything, with the buttons in easy reach to any visitor walking by. Literally dozens of goldfish were blended to death. What kind of art is that?? It portrays no message. The only message that one can get out of it is what he or she MAKES UP because he or she believes that all art has some symbolic hidden meaning. BS BS BS. It’s like mee spreading concrete on a piece of bread! Just because it’s only slightly out of the ordinary doesn’t make it ART.
