inside the wonderful world of little kids’ minds.
so after mr. ryan pangilinan (hi ryan!) moved out, i now live with his ex-wife becky and kid. the kid’s name is emme. she is… 4? she is quite funny. she likes to come into my room and go off on monologues because she is quite the talker (i can frequently hear her having lengthy conversations with herself and/or dolls in the other room as well). most of the time she has some interesting things to say. so, other than waste these couple months of classic child quotes, i’ve decided to document the ones i think are particularly funny. so here goes.
today she got a flyer of a puppet show in ballard or something. there are four separate shows — one with a troll, one of jack and the beanstalk, one with two mice, and one with some japanese girl and the cherry tree.
EMME ON PUPPETS:
“i don’t like puppets that talk but i do like puppets that don’t talk. but if i talk, i still won’t become a puppet.”
