hong kong & taiwan!!
* song of the moment * - “hen ai hen ai ni” bai sammi cheng. it’s not REALLY bai sammi cheng tho… she jes sang it on her new album… along with lee junghyun’s “bakwuh”, which actually is number one on the charts in taiwan right now. that pisses mee off. it’s not like taiwanese people CAN’T make decent music without posing offa other people… yet they still constantly constantly do it. ick. it’s annoying. and they like japanese people waaaay too much. hecka commercials in taiwan are purely in japanese. even tho it’s in taiwan. retarded.

december 28th, 2000 - we had a hong kong tour for half the day. went to victoria’s peak, a buddhist temple, on a boat ride (where we saw people who live on boats and sleep, cook, and do everything there), went to lunch on a floating boat thing (dim sum… of course), then to another gemstone factory. MORE PSYCHO ON-COMMISSION JEWELRY SALESMEN! they wouldn’t leave mee alone! (even WORSE than thailand jewelry people!)
december 29th, 2000 - went to taiwan from hong kong. went to hotel. boring day. oh yeah. we went shopping in hk in the daytime, tho. i love hk. bai the way… i wish to learn cantonese. it sounds so awesome. oh yeah. there’s this guy in a doublemint commercial who looks hella like nelson.
december 30th, 2000 - took pics in taiwan. the family pics… remember? sucked. then we went back to the hotel cuz it was raining. blech.
december 31st, 2000 - luckily it wasn’t raining today… but then again the day sucked anyways. well in taiwan there’s a free concert on new year’s eve… actually there’s a LOT of free concerts. the one we went to was right across the street from our hotel… it was mee, mai bro, james, nancy, and mai cuzin jia jia… none of them really liked chinese music that much so we didn’t keep squeezing and left after a half hour to go to the MALL. psh. sucked. two years ago we went with josh and fil’s family and since they were actually interested we got up to the second row and even got on tv! ^_^
january 1st, 2001 - shopping. *yawn.
january 2nd, 2001 - ate gross jap food and then karaoke-d for four hours. muahahahaha. pretty much it was only mee and mai dad singing… mai mom a little… mai brother sang a total of… three songs. psh. that’s what yoo get for not being able to sing in every language like i. >P jes messin. then we went to pick which pictures we wanted to keep… they turned out pretty good i guess but we took like a hundred something and we could only pick twenty so it was hard pick and choosing. then we walked like two miles back to our hotel. blech. no wonder asian people are so skinny. they walk so dayam much. unlike the fatass americans who virtually never walk… (maiself included)
january 3rd, 2001 - spent the day @ mai grandma’s house watching the chinese movie channel. four chinese movies in a day baybee!!! >P
