holidays.
christmas is great… it’s a tym of getting together with family and friends… it’s a tym of giving… it’s a tym of receiving (even tho that is supposedly not what it is about >P) and it is a tym of… WASTING TOO MUCH MONEY!!
every major holiday is so commercialized… like easter, valentine’s day, christmas, etc. do yoo guys have too much $$ to spend or something? i think everyone should jes buy each other christmas presents after christmas… that way yoo could get each other hella kOo stuff… for less! but of course most people don’t WANT TO do that… *grumble grumble. and yoo kno what?? i’ve never painted easter eggs before!! IT’S SO SAD! but i’m over it.
whoever came up with like… the easter bunny? what a bored person. and the tooth fairy. even tho that dun have to do with any holiday =D considering christmas has santa, valentine’s day has cupid, and easter has a giant bunny as mascots, i think thanksgiving should have a giant dancing turkey as a mascot. it would be like, “hey, look at tom the turkey! mmmm…” actually considering birds are much scarier than rabbits, maybe some people would get nightmares from that… *ahem* virginia *ahem*.
why do people HAVE to eat turkey anyway?? *sigh… i think it is dry… and gross. actually, thanksgiving is jes a horrible horrible holiday anyways. some christians those colonists were, those asses. poor native americans (is that the politically correct title? i can’t even keep up with it)… tryin to be nice and then being killed. that jes sucks.
and why do non-christians celebrate easter and christmas? christmas i can sort of understand; everyone wants presents… but EASTER??? sheesh. i doubt they’re jes hoppin for the eggs (no pun intended).
