i’m watching… iron chef america.
i’m feeling… meh.10:55 pm — these past couple of days have been pretty good… i don’t really know where to start cause there have been a lot of things, and not a lot of sleep, so… i’ll probably leave out a lot of things.

first, jeanette came up from california to visit me… and that was good. she stayed here from thursday night to tonight… and slept in my bed! holla!

i also got the magazines on thursday, i think… so umm on friday… what happened… we went to broadway and u-district… did a lot of walking around and shopping and stuff… jeanette got a haircut at rudy’s barber shop… i always walk by there but i never really thought of getting a haircut there, but they do a pretty good job, and it only costs $21… so i’m down with that. sick of getting haircuts at random places which vary from hairdresser to hairdresser hella freaking significantly -__-”

then me, jeanette, and mike went to yunnie’s and thai-tom’s… there was like a half hour wait for us to get seating, and an hour wait for us to get food. -__-’ thai-tom’s is always hella freaking busy… the place is so small and so damn good. anyway, there was a hair in my food, so i got it for free, so that’s cool. i don’t really care about hairs… it’s not horribly disgusting, so long as they aren’t short and curly. but as someone was saying, if it were a toenail or something, it’d be all over! well, duh.

after that uhhhh we hung around a bit and me, jeanette, mike, lenny, liz, cynthia, jenn, andy, and a couple of other random people went to watch “spike and mike’s twisted animation festival”… it wasn’t as good as everyone had imagined :[ it was so-so, about 1/3 of it was actually really good. there was one called “the boy who could smell the future” lmao, and it was just this animation of this kid in a kitchen eating cereal, and all of a sudden he’s like, “i smell smoke,” and the whole house explodes in an atomic bomb, and that’s the whole thing. LOL. ;/ it’s funny cause at first everyone was like, “WTF?” and after people thought about it, they were like, “OH SHIT IT’S GENIUS” and there were just random laughings. :X there was also this one about crabs who could only walk in one direction, and that was pretty awesome too.

anyway. after that people came over to our place and drank, and we tried watching “shaun of the dead” but that was no good. then we tried playing “cranium,” but that was no good either… short drunken attention spans, yaaaaaay. you know, i’m sure interesting shit happened, but i sure as fuck don’t remember it. X: so if anyone remembers anything, HOLLA.

oh yeah lenny was really drunk and like was doing rolls around the room and stuff. and he rolled off the couch (backwards somersault or something) and dropkicked my laptop. h.o.t.t.

saturday me and jeanette went to ballard and fremont, and that was cool… more shopping, randomness… went to archie mcphee’s and they gave jeanette wrong change back from her purchase and shit :[ etc. etc.

at night time, it was liz’ birthday, so a bunch of us went to spaghetti factory. it was funny cause there was a big long table, but on our side, there were five of us crammed onto one table: me, jeanette, mike, arlen, and farm… and we were saying how we were the poor, persecuted people because we were crammed onto one small table and people like anthony had shitloads of room - like enough to put out his arms and stuff lol. and the whole time we were like, “WE STAND UNITED! WE HAVE EACH OTHER! WHEREAS THE RICH PEOPLE OVER THERE THINK THAT THEY CAN JUST BUY HAPPINESS!” lmao… it was so stupid, but it was one of the funniest dinners i’ve had ever… the only funnier one was probably the one at the sushi place in hawaii. :D but it was great. especially since our side of the table was laughing like hyenas and the other rest of the table was just staring at us all silently like wtf, because we were having so much more fun. X: or so we tell ourselves. there was also much ghettoness and stealing of spaghetti factory glasses and sauce holders -__- there were these metal mini bowls, and we were like, “we gotta take this! cause this is as close to silver as we’ll ever get!” when in actuality, uhhhh well the other table apparently had five people crammed on it as well. LOL. but whatever. we’re CRAZY. don’t mess with us! we also took a freaking “lambda lil sis” pic… SHOOT ME NOW.

afterwards some people came over, and i walked out with my sars mask i took from the hospital and scissors in one hand, and i picked up another pair of scissors, and i think that i freaked out liz’ sorority friends HAHA awesome r0x.

later that night we took shots of jack daniel’s - ohmyfuckinggod nastiness, seriously - and ummm played videogames, and me, mike, lenny, and cynthia ended up watching “shaun of the dead” again, and there was much uh cuddle harassment and such. 0__o the movie itself was alright - there were some parts that were really really funny and some parts that were totally like wtf mate! we stayed up til like 7 am somehow… -__-

this morning me, liz, ray, eva, lenny, mike, arlen, farm, and jeanette went to eat dim sum in bellevue… whatever, it was alright. it wasn’t too expensive, so i’m alright with it. the only thing though was that farm got a mango pudding, i tried it and liked it, and then i asked the ladies if i could get some, and they said it was coming, and it never came. they had one more, but they went to every table but ours. BITCHES.

then me, lenny, and jeanette went to pike’s place market, and lenny almost caught a pigeon. there was also this cool ass band which painted their faces like mimes, with a guy who played a saw as an instrument. yeah, one of those saws you cut wood with. yeah, one of those saws you kill people with. it was rockin. the music was actually pretty awesome, and the lead singer sang like love… he had this kind of creepy, growly kind of voice - it was awesome. we took a pic with them, and then… yeah.

what else… ate lots of sugar, and then came back here and dropped off jeanette at the airport. and then i came home and napcrashed. and i have so many things to do tomorrow. and then le sigh. i don’t really get people at all. :X there’s this girl who hates me for no reason, and acts pretty illogical and stuff to other people… and i can’t say for sure, but i hate that people who don’t deserve to put up with shit (and i’m not talking about myself) have to take the brunt of unreasonable people’s actions. :| of course i don’t know the whole story about many a thing, but life just needs to be a shitload more simpler, for everyone.

i’ll probably refresh this when i actually think of more things. btw, i’m bad. :|

oh and did you know store-bought eggs are like 3 months old! WTF! we got a flat (wtf!) of fresh eggs cause mike’s grandparents own a chicken farm or something (sick!). whatever, they all taste the same to me.

oh yeah and the rocky horror picture show we watched a week or whatever ago was rather good. the transvestite homo guy was like, hot, and he was really really good. most of the guys were really good (minus rocky, who was like a non-sexy caveman), but most of the girls sucked (although the girl who played magenta was awesome). we almost didn’t get in - again - so we were hoping that the building would burn down (since with us, all things end in disaster), but we actually fit into the standing room, so it was all good.

(lenny’s response:)
i’m listening to… Gatsby’s American Dream - The Badlands.
i’m feeling… umm i’m alright!

Yeah this weekend was fun :) Jeanette is really cool. Dimsum was excelent cuz arlen was there <3 and that damn pigeon… soon I’ll catch one.

i hate that people who don’t deserve to put up with shit (and i’m not talking about myself) have to take the brunt of unreasonable people’s actions. :|

Don’t worry :) I’m sure that those people know that at least there are people like you who care ^__^ and trust me, that means alot.

meow.

i’m listening to… 311.
i’m feeling… lol.

10:30 pm — we just watched “ju on”… the original japanese version of “the grudge”… it was… retarded. X: not really scary at all. why the hell is it so famous? me, arlen, and farm watched it with liz, and we kept scaring her by screaming and shit… and liz left the room to get water, and before she left she turned on the lights, so me and arlen turned off the lights… he hid in the closet and i hid behind the door… and she didn’t even notice anything was wrong!! first of all the lights turned off, and second of all, we were sitting on the floor and we disappeared… not suspicious?! WTF?! good shit.

last night was daniel [kim]’s birthday so we went to honey court. dude, that place is so overrated. it’s so… not… good. but i ate anyway, cause i love eating, even though i’m a fat ass. oh well.

today… went to the doctor’s to get my stomach pain shit checked out… don’t know yet, but took blood test, and the lady couldn’t mind my fucking vein so she like poked me… and it hurt like a bitch! wtf! and it was just all sore… i think it’s bruised. h.o.t.t. and since my knees are bruised from snowboarding (although i really don’t know how the fuck), i looked like i “fell down some stairs.” :P and i have to get a catscan… they gave me these two bottles of milky white “berry smoothie” to drink beforehand… i just KNOW it’s going to taste like shit T__T and i have to drink it while i’m at school, and it’s supposed to make you poopy, so i uhhh better not eat the days before :0

saw the proof for the magazine today too… it’s fucking hot. damn.

and also… rocky horror picture show tomorrow ^__^ uw students are putting it on. wewt ^__^ we were supposed to go today, but i didn’t want to go with just arlen and farm… which is good, cause lotsa people are going to go tomorrow! yay!

art institute is good. wish i would have done that earlier, but you know, ehh… i probably don’t really. but i actually like doing work… and it’s actually fun. well, for the most part. a couple classes are boring like death, and 7:30 classes and commuting is not all that fun, but for the most part, it’s worth it. i think.

(lenny’s response:)
So it’s good that I flaked out! Now It’ll be a massive party shindig instead of just the 4 of us :D
It’s ok, you can thank me later ^^

UNLESS YOU WANTED TO KEEP IT SMALL SO YOU COULD BE ALONE WITH ME hahahaoisdiofusoiufd

I kid. I kid. ~__~

Tonight will be the the greatest night of our lives. Er.. maybe not lives, well maybe of this year? No, not that either. Maybe of the week. But Monday was pretty nice. So um how about greatest night of the day!

Well I can’t even garuntee that. So expect the most boring night of your life.

theme of the day: morbid.

i’m listening to… jimmy eat world.
i’m feeling… kk.

8:44 pm — so i’m going to write this and go to bed. wewt. -__-

let’s start with yesterday… yesterday we had adventures to costco and target and best buy, lol… very usual things, very routine… yet it was fun for some reason -__-at night me and liz went to last supper club for dean’s birthday, sort of… me, eva, and liz made him the most awesome card… on the front, we had, “what is dean kim?” and answered with every cool adjective we could think of (ie: fashionable, valiant, courageous, etc.) and also concluded that list with drawings of a donkey, a pot of gold and a rainbow, and a block of cheese. lol, we r0x. -__- on the back, we wrote dean in elmer’s glue and covered it with glitter, and put all sorts of stickers on it… one of which was a sumo wrestler thing… and eva wrote, “nurturing like a mother’s milk” LMAO. at the end of the card, we signed it with, “with the love as abounding as the oceans and as strong as a tsunami.” lmao. we r0x. we patted our own asses for so long after we made the card, with things like, “we are so awesome. this is awesome. this is genius,” etc. but yeah, the club / bar, was alright. very interesting mix of people. that is all. not my scene, but whatever, for now i’ll go anyway, just to poke around, although i’m always bored and sober and crap…

now today - was quite another adventure… omigat. supar dupar. so we woke up @ 8 and drove up… it was me, cynthia, karen, mike, and lenny… so la la la we had to ride with six people in the car til redmond because mike had to drop off his cousin sigma (what a name)… and up we went. on the way, we had to stop because chains were required… took cynthia, mike, and lenny like a half hour to put the chains on, lol, because no one knew how. cynthia and i ended up peeing on the side of the road in this snowy area which overlooked this small river with running water… haha it was actually pretty damn nice scenery for peeing! ^__^ the whole trip really, we were talking about dying… it’s really really weird that no one was bothered by it… everyone was just like, “watch mike crash into this car right here and it’s all over,” “watch us all die right here,” “he’s gonna kill us all,” etc. so much morbidity. lol. amuze.

so we were driving up and we were the ONLY car going towards steven’s pass, and a shitload of cars were leaving, so we were like WTF. we got there and steven’s was closed and all the lifts stopped running, so we sat around for a while, and we walked up a couple hills - except i’m super weak sauce and out of shape, and i thought my lungs were seriously going to explode a number of times and ummmm yeah. it was fucking cold as hell, and the reason every lift was stopped was because - as some lady described it - people would go up and come down all frosted over (like people’s cars… which was another amazing thing in itself, and i will describe later). anyway, went down one run hella shittily, because i can’t board when the snow isn’t powder, because i’m freaking weak sauce…!! anyway, after we started going down the second run, uhh my binding froze over. so, it wouldn’t lock in… so i started walking down with my board, and somehow i let it go, and it went flying into a creek. -__-” so it took me a while to find it, and then cynthia started trying to get it, and then mike got it… and it was actually sitting in water, so they just threw a bunch of snow on it and somehow got it out. good shit -__-”

so then we decided to leave, and everyone was freezing and frostbitten as hell with red hands and stuff. the way the ice froze over on one side of the car was AMAZING. we couldn’t open the door without yanking hella hard. after we rolled down the window, there was just this sheet of lumpy ice there from where the water froze over, and it was cool, because even though the window was rolled down, it looked like there was another one. hard to describe unless you saw a pic. so we punched holes in it and took pics. ^__^

on the way back we were lucky we didn’t really get stuck, and taking off chains was a lot easier than putting them on. we stopped in skykomish (or something) where mike stayed when he was like 16, and there’s a haunted hotel there called the skykomish hotel. description as follows:

Skykomish Hotel Bed & Breakfast: This is the home of the “blue lady”. It is reputed that the very top floor of this place used to be a speakeasy, where the ladies of the night entertained and where gambling went on. One of the prostitutes had a new boyfriend. The boyfriend walked in on her as she was doing business with another man. The boyfriend had forgotten what her line of business was and, enraged, he killed her.

anyway, mike was talking about how he heard weird noises and how he felt hella creepy in that place when he was staying there by himself (his sister had gone to buy groceries), and the next day his sister told him the story heh. ;0 fascinating. i want to go back to the winchester mystery house… description as follows:

When William Wirt Winchester, the heir of the Winchester fortune, died, his wife Sarah began visiting spiritulists in Boston. This person convinced Sarah that she was going to be haunted by all the people ever killed by the famous rifle. Sarah moved to California and bought a 18 room house. A lot of rooms? Guess not, because she hired twenty- two carpenters to add more rooms. One of the rooms was her Seance Room. This room was forbidden to everyone until her death because she believed that if anyone but her entered it, it would become unclean and evil spirits would dominate it. . This room can only be found by navigating the many rooms and passages. Her thinking was to create enough rooms for “good” ghosts while tricking “evil” ghosts by way of stairways going nowhere, doors that open to solid walls and even a room full of balconies of all shapes and sizes. The end result is a house with 160 rooms, 47 fireplaces and 13 bathrooms.

the place is seriously amazing. doors open up to a six foot drop into toilet bowls, doors open up to brick walls, steps are like 1/2 the size of normal people because the lady was so short, and doors open up to more doors, stairs go up to the ceiling, etc. etc. seriously, amazing. AMAZING. i need to go back. NEED.

but anyway, it’s freaking me out writing about this stuff… we had dinner at this place, and we got free seconds of hot cocoa because well they took so long. we were seriously there for like two hours waiting for food, although it didn’t actually feel like it. quite strange. mike started sleeping and we were going to rub jelly on his face, but that didn’t really work out :[ we also concluded that cynthia is always smiling - which i never noticed before, but it’s pretty true. i finally also got the comic book josh got me for birthday / christmas. it’s effin sexy.

anyway, they also fucked up on my meal. i wanted potato salad and they gave me chips, and they left out the tomatoes in my veggie sandwich!

WTFUCKINGF! right! but it was cool just being in a little town and stopping by a random little restaurant… i enjoi :D and we also took a bunch of pics next to the hotel in a silly attempt to capture the ghost in the pics… so maybe we’ll have some with it in it :D (doubt it). the hotel was closed when we were there, or else maybe we could have gone inside :[

to continue morbidity, the whole time these trains were passing by behind the restaurant we were in (which was actually another hotel, and it was really weird… they had all these random game rooms for scrabble, 21+ room, and regular dining room)… and we were saying how we wanted to jump on the train like in the movies, only we’d miss and get our heads crushed under the train and stuff. wtf, so morbid, but no one was bothered by it. it’s really really kind of odd.

on the way back uh we concluded mike dances and sings like corky romano. and we were just continuing the ghost convo, saying, “omg, the fog keeps coming back and going away… what if we’re driving in circles!” and then the ice was still melting and coming off of the car and causing banging / scraping sounds, so we were like, “omg! what if the ghost is on top of the car!” also the car had pretty much a self-made weather system… we dragged in so much water into the car after boarding and then turned up the heat, that all of the water evaporated and hung onto the top of mike’s sunroof, and started dripping down on the way back, and we were like, “OMG WHAT IF IT WERE REALLY BLOOD.” we’re so stupid, but it was such an amusing trip. :D and talk of death, oh me oh my, amusing, but wtf. i’m pretty sure we referred to death or said the word die, death, etc. at least 35 times. ;0

did i leave out anything, mr. lenny? oh yeah, and lenny sleeps with his eyes open. wtf.

(lenny’s response:)
Haha being morbid is what I do best!

On the way to Stevens we made a wish while passing through a tunnel. We wished that it would be snowing at stevens and that all would be well. BUT ALAS, the tunnel gods were cruel to us. And we joked how normally cheerful Cynthia would snap and go on a homicidal killing spree. To be honest I was expecting her pupils to dialate and her skin to turn to turn green in a fit of uncontrolable rage. GRRR CYNTHIA MAAAD! CYNTHIA SMASH! …. but to my dismay, she didnt turn into she hulk.

It was awesome when the 5 of us would walk up the hill, then I would turn around halfway up and see you sitting there staring at the ground :D

That really sucked that the weather had to be so shitty :( I really wanted to snowboard. I hope I can go again sometime before the season ends.

I think the waitress thought we were getting mad while we were waiting cuz when i looked back into the kitchen she saw me looking. And then she started telling the cook how he cooks so slow. Poor guy >_<

That snowboarding trip was soooo horrendous. But it was so fun somehow!

(anthony’s response:)
you guys should have checked the reports before you left…

i mean… when its 45 degrees and pouring down rain… you shouldnt be going… or when the website says… ALL LIFTS ARE CLOSED FOR TWO DAYS… thats a sign. :)

oh well, that must have been a new experience. i wanted to go too, but i didnt get home til 6am, and we sorta realized that the ski trip wasnt going to happen due to the weather anyway.

(lenny’s response:)
You missed out on quite a horrifically spectacular day! It said the the lifts were open when we checked biatch!!!@!@#$ They closed it while we were still heading up there, hence the mass exodus from the pass!

We werent about to turn back. OH NO WE WORKED TOO HARD

Oh yeah here is an illustration of our car’s weather system

(not shown)

Next time we are gonna take my car(suv) T__T and it will be the greatest trip of this decade, for there will be much snacks and car games!

meh.

i’m watching… donny brasco.
i’m feeling… meh.

4:40 pm — what a boring. i started school at art institute. four hour classes are death. i’ve ditched so many times the first week, on the notion that, it’s just the first week, i can switch around my schedule so that i never intended to take these classes in the first place. and that’s exactly what i’ve done.

right now my schedule is like this:
tuesday: 12:00 - 4:00 pm (survey of media and animation).
wednesday: 7:30 - 11:30 am (drawing and perspective), 12:00 - 4:00 pm (public speaking aka death).
thursday: 7:30 - 11:30 am (tools and techniques).
friday: 7:30 - 11:30 am (basic computers).

right now my mind is like this:
asdoiajsiodjaiosdjoasjfaosie9h8weu.

i tried to get out of drawing and perspective today because i took a drawing class @ uw where we did a lot of perspective work, and the bitch ass graphic design director told me, “you should take it again. nice try, but you need the work.” haha oh well, it’s true. i fucking hate drawing. there is seriously no type of art that is MORE boring. drawing takes the freaking cake.

yeah i need to figure out how to take the bus, though, cause parking is a fucking waste of money. like $6 a day or some shit. eff that.

ummm nothing else. finished the magazine. express mailed it today. fucking $15 to express mail. it better be done by the 29th. imma bust some caps. there’s nothing to do. X: meh.

i had 11 roommates before, now i have one, sort of. lol. awesome. -__-

fugazi. i’m loozing my miziind. there is about um, nothing good in life right now, on pretty much every level i can think of.

(lenny’s response:)
My heart explodes with sadness.

(anthony’s response:)
Man, you gotta do something about those missing buttons on this site.
Who was Roger? was that the guy you were talking to at the Immigrant? And yea, dont worry, next time, we’ll get you something better… It’ll be good times.

(vivian’s response:)
yes, roger was the guy @ immigrant.

adsdijsdiadsad.

i’m listening to… mewithoutyou.
i’m feeling… 1/2 drunken.

2:59 am — i am so bored with life… seriously… -__- i’m kind of glad to be starting art institute… maybe i’ll meet some new people. may, haps. fucking.

went to the bar tonight with anthony, scott, some other bitches… it was alright… it wasn’t that exciting until i got drunk, which honestly, is pretty fucking sad. saw a couple random people i know but haven’t seen for a long time… roger and jamie (who was actually in like the “group” of people we were with)… so that was cool… but yeah… whatever… i hate alcohol. damn you anthony for buying me that long island iced tea. shit is sick. i hate alcohol!… orientation in 7 hours. beautiful.

Wednesday, January 5th, 2005

i’m listening to… michael buble, broken social scene, the early november, cyndi lauper.
i’m feeling… mehhh.

2:46 am — new year… it’s been alright thus far. just a lot of sitting around, as usual. ghey.

for new year’s we went over to gareth / eric [prince] / roger / hsu-han’s place, although hsu-han wasn’t there. it was cool… lots of drunk people and lovely hugs and stuff. yes’m. liz came up for the weekend too. yeah.

my head hurts. went with lenny today to eat at some mediterranean restaurant in wallingford. it was not that exciting, but i don’t think we ordered dishes that were too “cultural.” poor owner — he was the only one there and no customers. :/ there was only one lady who came in asking for a new soup because she spilled hers walking to qfc which is not only down a block, and she blamed it on the container the soup was in. shrug. the owner was really nice, thou. sucks. so many shops and restaurants — don’t know how any of them stay in business really :| in wallingford especially — there was so much parking everywhere simply because no one was anywhere. generally speaking.

i’ve come to conclude that guys suck. they’re so much more insensitive than girls to other people’s feelings. meh.

boring.

Sunday, January 2nd, 2005

i’m listening to… nothing.
i’m feeling… fine.12:51 am — the introduction and ending credits to “lemony snicket: a series of unforunate events” are freaking awesome… the movie was aesthetically pleasing as well, although not nearly as much so. it kind of reminded me of tim burton, actually.

got preliminary issue of mag printed @ kinko’s. effin cost me motherfucking $24.00 apiece… and i printed two. holy fucking shit double-sided laser color printing is expensive. i was talking to the kinko’s worker, and turns out he went to my high school, and graduated in the same class as i did… wtf, and we didn’t know each other. weird. it’s weird how many people i see online in facebook and crap like that from our high school who i don’t know or even recognize - considering how i thought our school was hella small. weird.

(xinlei’s response:)
Who was the guy? And yeah, I thought it was very Tim Burton-esque. This movie was far more enjoyable than the Aviator though (which will no doubt will loads of awards even though it wasn’t too spectacular). good night. have a safe trip back to wa!

(my response:)
adam(?) elliott… he said he was friends with scott gross and mike dobbs and jeremy mendonza… you know him!? (trip back safe to you too!)

(xinlei’s response:)
yeahhhh no idea..
but i know how much you *heart*-ed mr. gross there…
